Romans 1:7 (NLT)
I am writing to all of you in Rome who are loved by God and are called to be his own holy people. May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
Paul is writing to the church, whom The Lord loves, differently.
We who have placed our faith in Jesus, as Lord and Savior, are called the bride! You are in a relationship with the Creator of the universe
He has the ability to love you in a unique way, different than any one ever before The one who loves you more than anyone ever has or ever could
Once we begin to really see his great love for us, Falling in love with him, becomes second nature
As we grow in our relationship with him,
everything that we do, come to church, read your Bible, pray, is a process of becoming more like Jesus.
That is why it is so important that we get an understanding of how much God loves us. Then the most important commandment becomes a joy!
Matthew 22:36-39
“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”
37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ We need to have a heartthat cares about what the Lord cares about. Have ears that hear His calling.
Having hands and feet that are willing to be directed by Him.
Until we have an understanding of God’s great individual love for each of us,
We won’t be able to truly understand the call and the plan He has for each of us.
Ephesians 1:4
Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.
Luke 12:7
And the very hairs on your head are all numbered.
He not only knows you by name, He knows every physical characteristic about you. He knows every joy, He knows every hurt,
He knows every laugh, and He knows every tear. He knows every want, and He knows every need. He knows every thought, He knows every prayer.
Psalms 139:1-18
O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.
You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do.
You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD.
You go before me and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to understand!
I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning,
if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand willguide me, and your strength will support me.
I could ask the darkness to hide me
and the light around me to become night— but even in darkness Icannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are the same to you.
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship ismarvelous—how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out before a single day hadpassed.
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!
I can’t even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up,
you are still with me!
