Hearing the voice of God

Romans 1:7 (NLT) I am writing to all of you in Rome who are loved by God and are called to be his own holy people. May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. Paul is writing to the church, whom The Lord loves, differently. We who have placed our faith in Jesus, as Lord and Savior, are called the bride! You are in a relationship with the Creator of the universe He has the ability to love you in a unique way, different than any one ever before The one who loves you more than anyone ever has or ever could Once we begin to really see his great love for us, Falling in love with him, …

The real light

John 8: 1-3 Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, 2 but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them. 3 As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought a woman …

Who is this Jesus Part 2!

Jesus is still at the festival of shelters. Much like in today’s culture the people are showing their confusion about who Jesus really is.. John 7:31 Many among the crowds at the Temple believed in him. “After all,” they said, “would you expect the Messiah to do more miraculous signs …

Too much to take!

Jesus is being extreme in both cases because many wanted only the miracles they didn’t want the deep connection and relationship that ensures eternal life and a successful life in the Kingdom here on earth as well….you can not be light, life, salt if you are not completely connected and in intimate relationship with the one who is all of these things himself….the belief is a daily communion with him, daily living a life that is Jesus pouring through us…we are light, life, salt, hope, joy, love and all of these things because that is how he is and we are daily becoming one with Him.

Doing the deep dive (of love) Part 1

This is what religion does, it takes the love and grace of God and turns it into tyranny. This is what happened in the dark ages from 500 to 1500 AD people forgot about grace and soon people were being killed for their “failure to live up to the rules” love and grace went out the window….before we get critical, how many times do we judge people based on our interpretation of the scripture rather than the law of love?
