Faith 101 by Pastor Matt Vangura

Today’s class is going to cover three Questions. What is Faith? How do I get Faith? Why do I need Faith? I know that some of you may be saying that I already know this stuff, but the apostle Paul said to thePhilippians “that it is a safeguard for you that I write the same things to you again.” It is not about getting something new but what are we doing with what we already have! Too much to take!

Jesus is being extreme in both cases because many wanted only the miracles they didn’t want the deep connection and relationship that ensures eternal life and a successful life in the Kingdom here on earth as well….you can not be light, life, salt if you are not completely connected and in intimate relationship with the one who is all of these things himself….the belief is a daily communion with him, daily living a life that is Jesus pouring through us…we are light, life, salt, hope, joy, love and all of these things because that is how he is and we are daily becoming one with Him.
