I’ve often heard it said, “We are all God’s children!” Is that true? If not, what qualifies us to be His child, and how do we show that we are living in a way that reflects our Father, proving we are His children!
We have a very real battle with thought patterns, ungodly people, and the devil himself. But we will win and even though at times it may not seem like it we are winning!
Everything we go through is either a battle we are winning to gain our future or it is merely practice for the bigger battle to come. God has great promises for all of us but seeing them fulfilled, is often more in our hands that we may think!
we all battle sin to say we don’t is either to acknowledge that you are not growing or you are lying! God knows we live in the battle and He will cause us to win as we grow in Him!
How do we handle the sin in our lives? Some ignore it some deny it some let it beat them up! How does God really want us to handle it? How does God really love us?
Loving means laying down your life for others as Jesus did….BUT it does not mean that you are a doormat. There are two distint aspects of God’s love and we need to understand both of them.
John tells us that we know how much God loves us. The question is do we? Over the next few weeks we are going to explore God’s love so we can live in that place always, pouring it out into ourselves and others.
The resurrection is easy to just become another story if we let it. It is powerful and life changing. It brings life if we believe it and we can allow our spirits to die if we reject it! This weekend is about the reality that we can believe that Jesus died, rose again, and still lives powerfully through our lives!
God longs for restored intimacy with us. we work so hard being religious, but that doesn’t get us there. He loves us and made the way for restored intimacy with Him!
The question is why did Jesus have to die? One step further is why do we have to die. Paul says he understood the answer to these question by reading the scriptures. The scriptures he was referring to are the Old Testament. Today we will walk through to find this truth
