What a mess…it is time to change (the world)
I have never seen so much division in the world in my life
There may be some others you have not thought of
People who profess to be believers but
– will side with abortion those who are pro-life
– will allow racism to live in their hearts or homes (all races) racism those who will not tolerate it
– will encourage sexual brokenness those who will want to see brokenness healed
God gave us the formula a long time ago..
2 Chronicles 7:13,14
13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
This is part of the answer and we will get to it in a moment
I believe the divisions are a form of drought, a drought of peace, love, joy, The locust devouring of the land is the hatred and animosity that we feel coming from everywhere, people are simply being devoured by it. The pestilence is COVID as well as the fear that is overwhelming our nation
Let me remind you
– Temple of God where His spirit dwells 1 Corinthians 3:16,17
– Chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession….1 Peter 2:9
– a sons and daughters – and heirs through God of the Kingdom Galatians 4:7
– children of God John 1:12, 1 John 3:1 and many other places
– heirs with Christ of the Kingdom Romans 8:17
– we have been delivered from darkness, set free, His workmanship, new creation, the righteousness of God and so much more
John 7:37b, 38
If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Notice it is not limited by what the world does,
God calling His people, His sons and daughters, his princes and princesses, the joint heirs with Jesus to come to Him and seek His face.
We get caught up in all kinds of things man would want us to do
he begins to show us what we need to do to correct the problems, he will show us where we have missed the mark…things like
– having our own agenda above him,
– judging others,
– not loving and doing unto others as we would have them do to us,
– not sharing the Gospel,
– living in fear,
we see where we fall short….not because He wants to condemn but because he wants to heal, bring hope, bring life and bring love.
He begins to heal our land, and we begin to heal the land by correcting the things we have missed, the things that quite honestly will heal us, bring us great joy, free us from bondage because we did not realize how missing His mark hurt us and robbed us of all He has for us.
God loves to listen to us and speak to us,
Our nation is a mess, can you agree with that?
It will take time for us to get over our angst, anger, fear, frustration, sense of loss, failure or just being incensed about everything, to forgive those around you, maybe even to forgive yourself.

Decide what to fast and do it. Be faithful to seeking the Lord while you fast and watch what he does for you!
